the youth hostel Altenberg is an accommodation for young people and families It is located near the train station in Altenberg. This is a place in the east of the Erzgebirge. Altenberg lies between two mountains: the Kahleberg and the Geisingberg. There are many forests and a lot of nature.
Because of the beautiful location and the many sports facilities, many people come to Altenberg every year. Here you can relax and do sports. The hostel has particularly simple doors and stairs and also a room that can be easily inhabited with a wheelchair.
