You move into your rooms and fortify yourself at the lunch buffet for your first hike with the local forester*. Hike to the Lauenstein Castle
We invite you to participate in the guided tours of the castle, the castle ruins and the exhibition. If desired, they can follow a certain topic as a red thread. It offers itself to undertake a time journey by the Middle Ages, to walk on the traces of the Bünaus by the castle or to become acquainted for example with the animals and the forest of the Osterzgebirge.

“A journey to the Renaissance”
How did the von Bünau family live in the Lauenstein Castle back then? What came into the soup pot? How important was the church? How do you hit the bull’s eye with bow and arrow? Which dresses were modern? After an eventful day in the castle you can answer these questions. They cook, fight and search for traces of the former lord of the castle.

“Falconry Demonstration”
